For those of you who are golf lovers, this is the biggest weekend of the year! The Masters is back, and I can’t wait to watch it!
The “Golf Boys” released a video last year, and it was absolutely hilarious. Check out the link to my blog:
Well “Golf Boys 2.Oh” are back! Bubba Watson, Ben Crane, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan are at it again with another hilarious video!
Enjoy the videos and the Masters this weekend.
Oh yeah…. Who are you cheering for?
I am dying to golf, and this commercial always makes me laugh. Spring is ALMOST in the air in the great white north where I live! Who needs a conference call when you can get out for a round of golf?
Have a great weekend everyone!
This video discusses some similarities that I see between playing golf, and the sales profession. A golf hole is not complete until the ball goes in to the hole, and a sale is not complete until the customer commits!
Take some time to think about this as you play your next round of golf, or attempt to close your next sale! Have a great day…
I had a crazy 38 hours of air travel the past two days due to a snow blizzard in my community.
I thought this would be a good time to pull out an “oldie but a goodie” from the Have A Laugh Friday archives!
Enjoy, keep smiling and have a great weekend!
It is Father’s Day on Sunday, and I will be watching the U.S. Open Golf Championship with my son. This is my favourite golf-business commercial, and I recommend you take 30 seconds to watch it. Have a great weekend!
When I came across this video last Sunday I stopped in my tracks. I had to watch it immediately. Sophie Gustafson has a severe stutter, and pre-recorded this video for an awards presentation for the Ladies Professional Golf Association recently. It is very difficult to put in to words how I felt while I was watching it, and after. I felt many emotions for Sophie during her speech, and after I was just plain proud of her. As some of you know, I have battled a stuttering issue all of my life, but NOTHING compared to what she had to endure.
She is an inspiration to anyone managing a speech issue, and an inspiration for anyone battling anything for that matter! It is easy to let our challenges stop us from doing what we really love to do, but Sophie has proven no matter how difficult things may be, you can still do everything you want to in life. Share this blog post however you like, but please take a moment today to share it!
Rick Reilly from ESPN.com wrote a wonderful piece on this story and you can check it out here:
I was debating what I would post for Have A Laugh Fridays this week, and received this as an email yesterday! I think it is a sign that spring is in the air, and the golf clubs will be dusted off soon for all of us that endure long, harsh winters.
Sales and business professionals take a lot of heat for all the golfing that we “apparently do”, so I thought some golf jokes were a great tie in for some laughs this week!
Remember, if you have any videos, pictures, or jokes that you think would be worthy of Have A Laugh Fridays, send me an email at:
Have a great weekend!
When I die, bury me on the golf course so my husband will visit.
I don’t say my golf game is bad, but if I grew tomatoes they’d come up sliced.
I’ve spent most of my life golfing. The rest I’ve just wasted.
They call it golf because all the other four-letter words were taken.
The ardent golfer would play Mount Everest if somebody would put a flag stick on top.

Golf is played by twenty million mature American men whose wives think they are out having fun.
It took me seventeen years to get three thousand hits in baseball. I did it in one afternoon on the golf course.
Golf is a game in which you yell “fore,” shoot six, and write down five.
Give me golf clubs, fresh air & a beautiful partner, and you can keep the clubs and the fresh air.
Have you ever noticed what golf spells backwards?
The only time my prayers are never answered is on the golf course.
Reverse every natural instinct and do the opposite of what you are inclined to do, and you will probably come very close to having a perfect golf swing.
Go play golf. Go to the golf course. Hit the ball. Find the ball. Repeat until the ball is in the hole. Have fun. The end.
If you think it’s hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.
It’s good sportsmanship to not pick up lost golf balls while they are still rolling.
Don’t play too much golf. Two rounds a day are plenty.
Golf is a game in which one endeavors to control a ball with implements ill adapted for the purpose.
A golfer’s diet: live on greens as much as possible.
Gone golfin’ … be back about dark thirty.
Born to golf. Forced to work.
My body is here, but my mind has already teed off .
Golf and sex are the only things you can enjoy without being good at them.
May thy ball lie in green pastures …. and not in still waters.
If I hit it right, it’s a slice. If I hit it left, it’s a hook. If I hit it straight, it’s a miracle.
The difference in golf and government is that in golf you can’t improve your lie.
