The Five Star 5 -Ideas, Ideas, Ideas!

Thinking Business Woman Looking Up On Many Questions Mark Isolat

Coming up with fresh, entertaining and captivating blog content on a regular basis can be tough. I am kind of lucky, in that my brain is always “on” and ideas continually flow!

But I still need to look for more inspiration, and came up with the three fantastic articles that have inspired me to keep evolving my content!

From “Start Blogging Online” http://bit.ly/1hLJ4Xg

From “ProBlogger”  http://bit.ly/1bl3kfN

Here are a few things that help me gather information and create content.

  1. Always have a pen and notebook within arm’s reach. Do this electronically if you like, and NEVER assume that you will remember something later without documenting it!
  2. Create an “Inspiration File”. Archive articles or other content that has peaked your curiosity to refer back to later.
  3. Be aware of things around you. Great ideas can come from the radio, TV, people you socialize with, or observing others.
  4. Review old content or notes.  A slightly different twist can bring new life to information.
  5. No idea is silly or crazy! No matter how out of left field something may seem at the time, you never know what might come of it!

Keep creating, be open to all possibilities with your writing, and HAVE FUN 🙂

Blogging Update – My 300th Post!

Hey Everyone!

Just a quick note to say thanks for following my on this blogging journey that is quickly approaching 2 years (wow times flies by)!

I have kept you updated on important milestone that I reached with my blog, and I have another one to share today.

Over the weekend, I published my 300th post!

Or as I like to say, I TOOK ACTION 300 times!

I recently backed up all of my posts and took count. Over 200 of those were original content. When I started out, I thought I could only write about like 8 things 🙂

All joking aside, I am very proud of this accomplishment and am looking forward to many more years of blogging and helping others.

One quick bit of advice if you are just getting started on a blog, or are in a bit of a “writing rut”

Don’t put pressure on yourself! Be open to creativity and be ready to take notes at a moment’s notice when ideas pop in to your head.

I have also gotten in to the habit of:

  • Reblogging other blogger’s content
  • Posting videos or links to cool stuff I find online
  • Reposting my earlier writing every 6-8 months

Take the pressure off, and just have fun! Get in the habit of supporting others too, and not just feel obligated to come up with new material .

Thanks again for your support!

It means the world to me..
