Please Share – Anthony Carbajal’s Ice Bucket Challenge

As many of you know I completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge a couple of weeks ago.

I have been amazed to watch this movement grow and grow for this incredibly horrible disease.

I was particularly moved yesterday when I was shown a video of Anthony Carbajal.

Please watch until the end. One you get past his ice bucket challenge, his message is very powerful.

Together we can all make a difference. This is why we are all doing the Ice Bucket Challenge. Please share with friends, family, colleagues… anyone who can help out. And across your social media channels.

So far this video has over 15 million views!

Please also give to your local ALS chapter:

Or your local chapters around the world!

Thanks and keep smiling 🙂

Have A Laugh Fridays – My Ice Bucket Challenge Vid!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Last night I completed the Ice Bucket Challenge! It was launched to raise money for ALS – Lou Gehrig’s Disease. One of my family member’s challenged my son and I, and we happily obliged.

This is a very serious disease and I challenge you all to take part, and invite others to participate as well to bring more exposure to the cause.

Why is this under my Have A Laugh Fridays?  Check out my video, and please share with others.

Have a great weekend.

NFL Super Bowl XLVIII – What Inspires Victory?

As the NFL Super Bowl XLVIII quickly approaches, I cannot help but think what is going through the player’s heads on the day of the big game. There are so many reasons why they want to win, and that bit of emotional inspiration can make all the difference!

I always think about O.J. Brigance on a day like today, and how he inspired the Baltimore Ravens to do great things, especially win the Super Bowl last year!

I have followed his career since it started up here in Canada in the early 1990’s and flourished later in Baltimore all those years ago. He now has a battle on his hands every day fighting ALS, but maintains a positive attitude beyond anyone’s wildest expectations.

At the end of the day, the Super Bowl is just a game; a celebration of two very good teams, and it will be a great experience for everyone involved, win or lose. O.J. Brigance helps me keep it all in perspective, and hopefully you too.

Please watch the attached video, and read the article below:

O.J. Brigance – Ex NFL Football Player, An Inspiration To Us All!

I watched this video recently and heard it again on the radio over the weekend. I was deeply touched by the effect of O.J. Brigance’s presence on the Baltimore Raven’s NFL football team.

But this is not only a football story, but an incredible life story as well!

Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Have a great week.
