Saturday Music Memories – Rockin’ Live DOA!
I have not been running as much as I should this spring, but I finally got out this week for the first time in a while.
I make sure to have FANTASTIC rock music on my iPod to keep me motivated.
This wicked track by Foo Fighters came on, and I hit repeat three times!

I have always been a fan of the Foo Fighters, but never seen them live! I can’t wait until that finally happens.
My appreciate for Dave Grohl went up a notch when he made the movie “Sound City“. Check out the trailer here:

Saturday Music Memories – Can You Learn To Walk Again?
I am a huge Dave Grohl fan, but have never seen the Foo Fighters live. I am going to make a point of seeing them when they roll through town next time.
Everything he touches seems to turn to gold. His career has not been without adversity though. You see he was in a “little” band called Nirvana which obviously met their demise suddenly. But he persevered and has been kicking butt ever since. His collaborations with other artists have been met by rave reviews. I love his recent track with the surviving Nirvana boys and Paul McCartney. It just rocked!
His most recent collaboration is the sound track from his documentary – Sound City.
In this video, Dave Grohl hits it out of the park with two of Foo Fighters greatest hits … “Walk” and “Pretender” – acoustic.
