Saturday Music Memories – Can You Learn To Walk Again?
I am a huge Dave Grohl fan, but have never seen the Foo Fighters live. I am going to make a point of seeing them when they roll through town next time.
Everything he touches seems to turn to gold. His career has not been without adversity though. You see he was in a “little” band called Nirvana which obviously met their demise suddenly. But he persevered and has been kicking butt ever since. His collaborations with other artists have been met by rave reviews. I love his recent track with the surviving Nirvana boys and Paul McCartney. It just rocked!
His most recent collaboration is the sound track from his documentary – Sound City.
In this video, Dave Grohl hits it out of the park with two of Foo Fighters greatest hits … “Walk” and “Pretender” – acoustic.
Have an awesome weekend…

My current favorite quote is from Dave Grohl: “I don’t want to be perfect, I just want to be badass.”
Can’t argue with that! Thanks for stopping by Broc. Enjoy the rest of your weekend…
I have followed Dave since 1991 too. From Nirvana, jamming with Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Them Crooked Vultures. … He makes everything so fresh and dynamic….The way the Pixies were back in the day
Hey Kyle! Wow great to see you over here! Dave Grohl is just incredible. I love all his different side projects and more popular work. Have you picked up the Sound City soundtrack? It is more fantastic collaborations.
