I Just Took A Break – Have You?

I have just returned from a much-needed two-week vacation with my family. It was nice to “recharge the battery” and decompress in preparation for a busy summer and fall at work.

Have you planned some time off this summer as well? Don’t you dare skip vacation this year! Everyone needs a break from the daily rigours of life.

I know some people have the mindset that they will impress their bosses by skipping vacations and I am sure that you can guess my opinion on that. I DON”T LIKE IT!

Trust me, take the break – you need it!

If finances are an issue – you can even have a “staycation”. Take holidays and not go anywhere.

    Its easy for me to make excuses about vacation. You are right, we all need down time. Thanks for a great post! My vacation is coming up in a few weeks!

    Good for you man, always great to recharge, I live on the beach so every afternoon I take a mini vacation, and off to Greece in August, I’m pumped!! Glad you’re back buddy!

    Hi Tim I am all for taking that needed break it keeps us going. I am looking forward to a trip next month back to Italy where I will be attending immersion school for two weeks and then a break with some fun in Paris. Life is just too short not to take the time to get away! How is that baby doing? I bet growing fast..

      Wow I am jealous Tina! Sounds like it will be a fantastic trip. Have a wonderful time. I agree life is too short so enjoy all the time away that you can get. Boys are doing well. Rowan just turned 7 months and is quite the little character…
